Team
At FAMCANE, we came together through our work with dogs. We come from diverse professional backgrounds and combine a wide range of experiences, perspectives, and working methods. In our daily work, observation, analysis, creativity, and practical application flow seamlessly into one another. This interplay shapes the way we collaborate.
We are qualified and licensed dog trainers with many years of experience, supported by regular continuing education in our respective fields. We accompany human–dog teams from puppyhood through adolescence and into specialized areas such as mantrailing, resilience training, and scent work.
In a positive and open environment, space is created for learning and purposeful application, for exchange, new ideas, and jointly planned development. All of this is supported by an appreciative atmosphere in which growth can take place with joy.

My passion for animals and my professional commitment go back many years. From 2001 to 2004, I completed an apprenticeship as an animal caretaker specializing in companion animals. This training deepened my understanding of animals and laid the foundation for my later work as a dog trainer.
Between 2018 and 2019, I completed comprehensive training as a dog trainer, which prepared me ideally for my professional path. Since then, I have devoted myself with great enthusiasm to dog–human training. My work includes group classes (for puppies and adult dogs), nose work, and individual private lessons tailored to the specific needs of each dog and owner.
To continuously expand my expertise, I regularly pursue further education in a wide range of areas. This includes advanced training in behavioral therapy and nose work (mantrailing, scent discrimination, and conditioning). I am also a certified NHB course instructor, hold authorization from the Veterinary Office of the Canton of Zurich to conduct mandatory dog training courses, and have successfully completed the SVEB 1 course instructor certification. Ongoing professional development in dog training and behavior is a central part of my work, true to the motto: knowledge is food for the mind. Only those who are willing to keep learning can truly see and understand.
I look forward to sharing my knowledge and experience with you and your dog, and to working together to build a trusting and harmonious relationship.

Animals have been part of my life since childhood. From my own pets—such as guinea pigs and cats—to dogs and horses, and through my training as a veterinary assistant, I have always been surrounded by animals with great passion.
My first two Australian Shepherds accompanied me in my work in therapeutic riding, where I experienced firsthand what dogs can do for people. These experiences led me to train my next Aussie as a therapy dog, together with my work as a handler. Since then, we can regularly be found visiting a nursing home, where we bring joy and comfort together.
After completing my training as a dog trainer in 2021–2022, with a specialization in nose work, I began training future Socialdog teams.
Nose work is my greatest passion. I love working with dogs in scent discrimination, scent conditioning, object search, and mantrailing. It brings me great joy to see how dogs explore the world through their noses and, in the process, build a deep connection with their humans.
To stay up to date in this exciting field, I regularly take part in further training and maintain close exchange with fellow trainers.
Since 2023, I have also been qualified as an NHB course instructor.

Since childhood, I have had a deep passion for dogs that continues to shape my life today. Growing up in Greece, I had early contact with stray and rescue dogs, which allowed me to gain extensive experience working with them.
Between 2022 and 2024, I completed my training as a dog trainer and earned a diploma in the field of rescue dogs. I am also a certified trauma and rescue dog specialist and an NHB instructor.
I am particularly fascinated by dogs’ emotional development. I believe that behind every behavior lies an underlying emotion that needs to be understood and addressed. A key focus of my work—especially with shy or anxious dogs—is building resilience and self-confidence, enabling them to develop their abilities and lead happy, fulfilling lives. As a certified resilience coach for humans, I am deeply interested in how these principles can be applied to dogs.
My approach is grounded in empathy, patience, and science. My goal is to achieve long-term results that sustainably improve the lives of dogs and their guardians. It brings me great joy to support dogs in meeting their emotional and behavioral needs in a sensitive and well-informed way.
