Junghundekurs- wir bleiben dran!

The journey continues after the Young Dog Course! We reinforce what has already been learned, gradually increase distractions, and practise new exercises, both on the training field and in everyday situations.

Building on the foundations established so far, we develop existing skills through new exercises and learn to work together with focus, even as distractions increase. We adapt the level of difficulty step by step to each dog's progress, ensuring that they continue learning with enjoyment and success.

What to Expect:

• Focus & Loose-Leash Walking: Walking on a leash with changes of pace, off-leash heelwork, staying within a designated distance during walks, and communicating through body language.
• Expanding Basic Cues & Improving Reliability: The stand position, moving into the front position from heel, recall into the front position, and using an interruption cue during walks.
• Distance Work: Sit and down commands at a distance, as well as sending your dog forward with an integrated recall.
• Learning New Tasks: Searching  and carrying objects.
• Mastering Everyday Situations: Recognising potential triggers during walks and confidently handling walks in busy environments.
• Learning to Relax: Remaining calm in a down position despite distractions and relaxing together on a park bench.

You will learn how to confidently guide your dog through challenging situations, better understand their signals, and support their learning effectively.

Your dog will learn to stay focused on you even when distractions are present, respond to familiar commands in different situations, and tackle new challenges with growing confidence.

Together, we will reinforce existing skills, discover new ones, and strengthen your teamwork, helping you and your dog enjoy a relaxed, safe, and confident everyday life as a team!
