Dogs primarily experience the world through their sense of smell. Sniffing, searching, and exploring are among their most natural behaviors. In this nose work course, your dog gets to do exactly that, in a calm, clearly structured environment that is enjoyable and provides a sense of security.

This course is designed for human–dog teams who would like to explore nose work and are looking for a meaningful form of mental enrichment. Nose work promotes concentration, self-confidence, and calm, focused activity, and is suitable for dogs of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds.

We build the search work step by step, ensuring that every dog can participate successfully. The exercises are simple, clearly structured, and easy to understand. The focus is not on performance or speed, but on shared learning and positive experiences.

Topics covered in the introductory nosework course include:

• Recognizing and understanding search behavior
• Setting up simple search tasks
• Search games with varying levels of difficulty
• Initial development of a clear indication behavior

The course takes place in a calm environment and gives your dog the opportunity to concentrate and find solutions independently. At the same time, you’ll learn how to guide your dog effectively and support them during the search.

You will learn to better understand your dog’s search behavior, provide clear guidance, and offer calm, supportive direction.

Your dog learns to use their nose purposefully, work with focus, and enjoy staying engaged in a task.
