A puppy brings lots of joy, closeness, and new routines—and often turns everyday life upside down faster than expected. The first weeks and months are a particularly formative time. This is when trust, orientation, and the foundation for a relaxed life together are built. At the same time, many questions come up: What really matters right now? How much training does a puppy need? And how can I guide them safely through this new world?

With Puppy Start, we support you individually during this sensitive early phase. This offer is for you if your puppy is about to move in or has just arrived, if you want to prepare in a targeted way, or if a group class is not (yet) the right fit. Puppy Start can also provide valuable personal support as an addition to an existing puppy class.

In a one-on-one setting, we look together at what will truly help you in everyday life right now. We don’t follow rigid programs, but focus on your puppy’s needs and your personal situation. The goal is to create security, for you and for your dog.

• House training and toilet training
• Handling typical puppy behavior, such as bite inhibition
• Learning calmness and relaxation in everyday life
• First steps in being left alone
• Safe everyday routines: walks, environmental stimuli, encounters
• Building trust and clear communication
• First cues such as recall, sit, or down, meaningfully integrated into daily life.

Training takes place at your home or in suitable public locations, depending on your needs. This allows us to work exactly where situations actually occur and develop practical, everyday solutions.

You will learn to understand your puppy better, interpret their behavior, and guide them calmly and clearly through new situations. You gain confidence in handling, timing, and communication.

Your puppy learns to orient toward you, build trust, settle, and develop first everyday skills.

Puppy Start is designed to take pressure off, provide orientation, and offer you a safe framework for your shared beginning. You don’t need any prior knowledge, we are happy to support you step by step on your journey.
